Christmas Day is almost here and that means sneaker heads all over are preparing for that annual Nike Basketball Christmas Day release which consist of 3 signature shoes from the likes of NBA stars Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
The Nike Basketball Christmas Day releases actually originated back in 2009 with the Nike Kobe V and LeBron VII. If you want to take it even further there was a Nike LeBron VI GS “Christmas Day” that released but wasn’t totally what you would expect for a Christmas sneaker. The only sign that these were for Christmas is the insole of LBJ playing basketball as a kid and the little christmas tree behind the tongue.

That was 2009. Im sure if a few of us could go back in time we would have picked up those Kobe’s or definitely those LeBron’s. I personally like the Kobes from this Christmas release.
