If by any chance you have been living under a rock you probably missed the buzz behind the Nike LeBron signature series when it comes to the ’Summit Lake’ color way. The newest member which happens to be LeBrons 11th signature model has released today in the “Summit Lake Hornets”. A specific color way that actually has graced six other of his signature numbered sneaker models.
What exactly is ‘Summit Lake’ you might ask? Well before his Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School days or Cleveland Cavalier and currently his Miami Heat days, LeBron James was apart of a AAU team. The ‘Summit Lake Hornets’.
The “Summit Lake Hornets” color way which is generally Purple and Teal has been seen on the following models:
Nike LeBron VI, Nike LeBron VII PS, Nike LeBron 8 V/2, Nike LeBron 9, Nike LeBron 9 Low and Nike LeBron 11 (which released today). Unfortunately the Nike LeBron X wasn’t a lucky participant to grace the Purple/Teal color way even though some have said the “Akron Aeros” and “Sprite” color ways of the Nike LeBron X Low were.
Along with LeBron’s numbered signature shoes there were a few of his secondary lines and a few sample versions that were the proud recipients of the “Summit Lake Hornets” color way. The two secondary models were Nike Zoom Soldier II and Nike Zoom Ambassador (I and II) and the Nike LeBron VII seen two sample color ways.
