Team USA is in the midst of its exhibition season. With the Rio Olympics just about a week away, the team is tuning up for the competition.
On Tuesday, the national team played China for the second time this summer. Besides winning by 50 points, the guys on the team decided to give a little more entertainment to the Oracle Arena crowd.
At no point was that more evident than when DeMar DeRozan rose up to attempt a 360 poster slam. DeRozan was unable to punch it home but placed himself firmly in the best missed dunk conversation.
Yoooooo if DeRozan would have finished this!!!! #USABMNT https://t.co/QxBIwKPTdN

But while the general public enjoyed watching DeRozan almost accomplish the impossible, his coach didn’t feel quite the same way.
Coach K told Marc Spears of The Undefeated after the game that Team USA was having a little too much fun for his liking:
Coach K said: "We had a little bit too much fun out there tonight. We have to tone that down a little bit." https://t.co/7KIDaLcDKw

Coach K needs to sit back and chill a little bit. There’s nothing wrong with having a little fun in garbage time of an exhibition.
You do you, DeMar.
