Team USA Men’s basketball team looked like an unstoppable force just a few days ago against Argentina. Last night against China, some of the United States best basketball players once again handed another international opponent a huge loss. It appears that some of their training against the USA Select Team last week has properly prepared this squad for utter domination.
Team USA enjoyed a 106-57 rout on Sunday night against China in their second pre-Olympic exhibition game. This contest comes just a few days after their huge win over the Argentinians in Las Vegas.
Team USA was led by a pair of Warriors on the night. Kevin Durant scored 19 points and Klay Thompson put up 17 points of his own. DeMar DeRozan scored 13 points, while DeMarcus Cousins added 12 points and seven rebounds.
The US national team plays China once again on Tuesday before they head out to Chicago to face off with Venezuela on Friday and end their exhibition showcase against Nigeria in Houston on Monday. Expect this to be a theme for Team USA as the summer comes to a close. Just dominating victory after dominating victory on their way to a gold medal.
