Green, 29, has been in the NBA since the 2014-15 season. After going undrafted in 2012, he played in the G League (then D-League) and spent time playing in France. He briefly played with the Spurs on a 10-day contract in 2014-15 but only appeared in four games.
Green eventually landed with the Grizzlies and was a key contributor in Memphis from 2015 to 2019, until the franchise traded him to the Clippers, along with Garrett Temple, in exchange for Avery Bradley.
For his career, Green has averaged 8.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game while shooting 47.9% from the field and 36.9% from 3-point range.
The Clippers now have their stars in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, and they are a deep team that becomes even deeper with Green making his return.
