Usher may be more than two decades into his legendary career, but he is showing no signs of slowing down. Just a few weeks ago, he joined Eric Bellinger and Vedo on stage at Something In The Water. More recently, he headed up to NPR for a Tiny Desk concert series performance. Now, he’s back in front of the cameras for a performance in the “Good Love” video.
Not long ago, JT and Yung Miami teased a collaboration with none other than Usher. It was unclear what a collaboration between the three acts would sound like, but Yung Miami assured fans that it would be worth the wait. In her words, it was “fun” and best suited for a “cookout” during the summer. With the July 4th holiday weekend inching closer, it appears that Yung Miami knew what she was talking about. Complete with a nostalgic video shot at Cascade, “Good Love” is a summer vibe that is sure to be in rotation for weeks to come.
City Girls dropped their sophomore album, City On Lock, during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to health concerns, the duo was unable to take the project on the road as they may have hoped to. While the world is far from where it was, it appears that the duo will be able to take their next project on the road this fall alongside Jack Harlow. It’s unclear when their next set of tracks will arrive, but “Good Love” is a great sign of what is to come. Check out the visual for the Usher-assisted single below.
