If you haven’t been paying attention, Ciara has been making a concerted effort to collaborate with artists across the board. One year ago, she dropped “Jump” with Coast Contra. From there, she worked on “Better Thangs” with Summer Walker. Most recently, she released “Da Girls” with Lola Brooke and Lady London. Now, she’s in her R&B bag and ready to deliver “How We Roll” with Chris Brown.
While the two artists have shared the stage together in the past, “How We Roll” is their first official collaboration. Led by Precision Productions, Deli Banger and Mr. Kamera, Ciara’s newest single is a smooth, understated R&B jam that is reminiscent of her work in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
“Yeah, top off, summer in the wind. You look at me like that again, we make another kid. You my heart, I’m your rib,” she kicks off the first verse.
“That’s how you love it. Who cares if we are in public? When it comes to you, I’m with whatever,” Chris Brown answers in the second verse.
