Saturday Night Live star Chris Redd has earned a comedy special at HBO Max. The special is one of three that is set to be produced by Conan O’Brien. The first two O’Brien specials will star Beth Stelling and James Veitch and will debut in August. Redd’s special will be released at a later date.
This is the latest development in Redd’s career. Earlier this month, he announced that he would star alongside Don Johnson in an upcoming comedy series from Kenan Thompson. He has also been hard at work maintaining a COVID-19 Protest Relief Fund. Thus far, the comedian has raised $366,963.
Redd has rose to a prominence over the last decade appearing in movies like Joker and shows like Big Mouth. In 2018, he won an Emmy for his work on Saturday Night Live. There, he is known for his wide range of impressions. Over the years, he’s impersonated everyone from Offset to Cory Booker.
