Well, that escalated quickly.
Eight days after Quavo hit Chris Brown with his “Tender” diss track, Chris Brown has responded with a single of his own called “Weakest Link.” Backed by the production of Orsix, Neverodd and KXVI, the 150-second track takes aim at the Georgia native and makes several claims.
“Stop talking about beating girls. You [were] beating b—s on the elevator. [We’ve] seen the tapes. That’s devastating,” he rapped, referencing video of Quavo engaging in a physical altercation with Saweetie.
“R.I.P Takeoff. [He’s] the only real one that got true respect. [It’s] crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead,” he added.
Quavo and Chris Brown’s musical back and forth reportedly began April 11 with the release of “Freak.”
“OK, now, f—g my old b—s [is not going to] make us equal. [I’m] sipping that 1942 because I don’t [drink] Quavo,” Brown raps.
“Freak b—h. She likes Casamigos, not the Migos.”
Within 24 hours, Quavo responded with a diss track of his own called “Tender.”
“You did [Saweetie] wrong and now the b—h gone. She’s posted with a thug. [Don’t] call the b—h phone. She won’t come home. Don’t beat her up,” Quavo said in reference Chris Brown’s lengthy history of domestic violence accusations.
Now, fans wait to hear the next response from Quavo.
