When many people think of late fall or early winter holiday music, their minds turn to the likes of “All I Want For Christmas” or “Santa Baby.” While there is certainly an abundance of Christmas music in the marketplace, there is a fair share of Thanksgiving tunes as well. Most recently, Devin Morrison and Masego delivered a track called “Yamz” in 2021. This year, the song has picked up steam yet again after Fetty Wap twisted the song to fit his style. Now, another artist has offered his own rendition of the track.
Celebrating Thanksgiving the right way, the legendary Charlie Wilson hopped on FaceTime with Masego to debut his own rendition of “Yamz.” As many expected, uncle Charlie did not disappoint.
“Question/Can I get to the yams?/Sweet yams/Show me the way/’Cause I got bills to pay,” he sings.
“Sweet yams/Show me the way/’Cause I got bills to pay.”
Shortly after hearing the latest rendition of his track, Devin Morrison hopped on Twitter to share his stamp of approval.
“I’m still not ok,” he tweeted.
