Simone Biles is not just a leader on the mat. She’s also also using her platform as an iconic athlete to provide resources for those struggling to maintain their mental health. As part of her mission to provide mental health resources to marginalized communities, she has signed on to become the Chief Impact Officer at Cerebral.
Together, the mental health app and Biles will distribute to $500,000 to underserved communities with a focus on children in foster care. Cerebral will also be an official sponsor of Bile’s Gold Over America Tour and the 2022 Biles Invitational.
“There’s a revolution going on. Look around, and you’ll notice more and more athletes, celebrities, and other public figures taking a stand for mental health. You’ll notice that members of your community and family are likely discussing it more often. You may even find that you yourself are thinking about mental health more often,” a press release from Cerebral reads.
“We’re proud to do our part by providing access to high-quality online mental health support. And we’re proud to partner with Simone Biles, who has already done so much to bring the conversation into households and communities around the world.”
We welcome with open arms @Simone_Biles as a Chief Impact Officer! She has been an amazing role model and #mentalhealth advocate, in and out of the field, so we could not be more honored to have her working with our team.
