Kickoff is quickly approaching. Just after 6:30 p.m. EST, the NFL will begin the process of crowning its next champion. As of now, the betting odds are leaning in favor of Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles. Having outscored their opponents 69-14 through two postseason games, it’s easy to see why the sportsbooks are leaning toward Philadelphia. However, Kansas City still brings a ton of experience to the field coupled with the play of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Not to mention, Andy Reid is calling the plays. It’s tough to predict who will come out on top in Super Bowl LVII, but that hasn’t stopped celebrities from sharing their predictions.
Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles have their fair share of celebrity fans. Out in Kansas City, Paul Rudd, Tech N9ne, Jason Sudeikis and Henry Cavill ride with Mahomes and company. Meanwhile, Philadelphia has Questlove, Quinta Brunson and a guy by the name of Joe Biden in their corner. With that said, the celebrity with the most to lose this Sunday is a Toronto native by the name of Drake.
Drake is no stranger to the world of sports. Over the years, he’s warmed up with the Kentucky Wildcats, attempted to make his way into the Miami Heat locker room and delivered a post-game interview after the 2019 NBA Finals wrapped up. This year, he’s placed a $1 million bet on the Kansas City Chiefs. Contrary to his bet, Meek Mill has picked the Eagles to win Super Bowl LVII.
“If you’re rocking with the Eagles, make some noise one time,” Meek Mill said while performing in Glendale, Arizona this week.
“We’re on the Philly vibe. C’mon, let’s do it! One time for the Eagles — I think we’re taking the Super Bowl.”
Meek Mill isn’t the only Philadelphia native to side with his hometown this weekend. Media mogul Kevin Hart also believes the Eagles will win Super Bowl LVII.
“This is my second Super Bowl with the Eagles,” Hart told People Magazine.
“During my time on this earth, if I can get two wins out of it, that’s even bigger. My fingers are crossed, all superstition is kicked in, and I would love to come home with another win.”
Kevin Hart, Drake and Meek Mill will all find out who wins the Super Bowl tonight as the Chiefs and the Eagles take the field at State Farm Stadium on February 12 at 6:30 p.m.
