Cardi B and her favorite fast-fashion brand Fashion Nova are teaming up again, and this time not for a new collection of drip.
The Bronx-bred rapper and the fashion company have pledged $1 million in support to those affected financially by the coronavirus pandemic. Their plan includes donating $1,000 an hour for the following 42 days until they break the $1 million mark.
“Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs,” writes Cardi B on Instagram. The application for the gift can be found on Fashion Nova’s website on a landing page separate from their web-store.
Cardi B has teamed up with Fashion Nova previously with multiple collections that instantly sold out. Cardi B has used her bold personality and amplified platform to spread her thoughts, facts, and a little humor regarding the coronavirus.
A viral speech featuring Cardi B enthusiastically screaming “coronavirus” has earned a remix, produced by DJ iMarkkeyz has made chart impact. The pair plan to use proceeds from the song to support coronavirus relief efforts.
