Last week or so we were provided with information from an interview that Cam’ron, who is looking to release his last album, ‘Purple Haze 2’, is partnering up with Reebok to release a sneaker. The sneaker at the time was unknown but the tentative release date of 4/20 was made known. Now we are back once again with more information regarding the sneaker and it comes by way of a teaser/first look of the sneaker as well as the name and potential packaging.
As you can see in the above picture, the classic picture of Cam wearing a pink mink coat and mink hat on his pink phone serves as the basis for the insole. In the picture as well we get confirmation of the sneaker chosen and it is the Reebok Ventilator Supreme which sports the two main colors associated with Cam’ron, purple and pink, not to mention the sneaker is dubbed ‘Purple Haze’. Incorporating the Purple Haze moniker even more it can be seen in the picture below showing off the packaging or part of it. If you remember the Purple Haze album cover then you will appreciate this. As for a release date, 4/20 looks to still be the date floating around and as for availability it is being said that the sneakers will be LIMITED to 500 pairs.
