Cam’ron and Mase are never shy about sharing sports commentary. The two MCs have taken their digital sports talk show, It Is What It Is, and expanded it into an entire network of content. Along the way, they’ve chopped it up with First Take Host Stephen A. Smith, Big 3 Co-Founder O’Shea “Ice Cube” Jackson and former NFL star Brandon Marshall. Most recently, the talk sho co-hosts spent a bit of time discussing Saturday’s super fight featuring Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford. While it was tough to do so, both MCs shared their predictions for the fight that will have the world of sports buzzing on Saturday night.
“I don’t even want to pick anybody. If I had to pick, I’m going to go with Errol Spence Jr.,” Cam’ron told Mase.
Cam’ron did not appear to be confident in his prediction, but swayed in the direction of Errol Spence Jr. because of his body-punching ability. In the opposite corner, Mase is betting on Terence Crawford to walk away with the undisputed welterweight title.
“For some reason, I just think Terence Crawford is going to win,” Mase said on Wednesday.
“It’s kind of hard to pick, but I’m going with Terence Crawford.”
Mase isn’t the only person picking Terence Crawford to win on Saturday night. At several sportsbooks, Crawford has emerged as a slight betting favorite. Also, Rick Ross has picked Crawford to win on July 29 and Eminem may be helping the Omaha native walk into the ring at T-Mobile Arena. Regardless of who’s siding with who, Crawford and Spence Jr. will have to settle their differences in the ring on July 29 on Showtime PPV.
