Sanders has 30 catches this season for 367 yards and 2 touchdowns. He will give 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo another much needed wide receiver to throw to. Although undefeated at 6-0, San Francisco’s did not have much of a true #1 wide receiver. Tight end George Kittle is one of Garoppolo’s favorite targets but now he has another pro bowl caliber receiver in Sanders.
Before joining the 49ers, Sanders played with the Pittsburgh Steelers for four season and later signed with the Denver Broncos winning Super Bowl 50 with them.
in his career Sanders has 565 career receptions, 7391 yards, and 39 touchdowns.
Health has been the only downfall of Sanders career. He suffered Achilles and ankle injuries each of the past two years cutting his seasons short.
