Y’all ready to go through puberty again?
I hope so because Big Mouth is returning for its third season in just over a month on October 4th. The announcement was made Thursday via the show’s official Twitter.
For the uninitiated, the series, created by Nick Kroll, follows in the footsteps of South Park and Beavis and Butthead as a realistic, if vulgar, look at growing up. Big Mouth does skew more on the sentimental side as it often tells a legit coming-of-age story about the ups and downs of middle school and puberty. Somehow though, the writers of the show even found a way to make the announcement itself a dirty joke.

The series has been a hit for Netflix practically since it first premiered in 2017. Each of the first two seasons picked up an Emmy nomination and the same, if not more, is expected of the upcoming third season. Netflix actually loves the show so much that it recently renewed it for three more seasons. Along with the renewal, Netflix also signed Kroll and co. to a larger overall deal to produce even more animated content for the streamer.
Big Mouth season 3 hits Netflix on October 4th.
