Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter will return to deliver Renaissance: Act II on Friday, March 29, 2024.
The road to Renaissance: Act II began moments after Usher rocked the crowd at Allegiant Stadium during Super Bowl LVIII. During a commercial break, Verizon shared its highly-anticipated Super Bowl LVIII spot featuring the Houston, Texas native. Transitioning from a role in Barbie to opening a Lemonade stand, Verizon repeatedly turned to the global superstar to ask, “Beyoncé can break the internet. But can she break Verizon?” In the end, Beyoncé concluded the “Big Game” spot by replying, “They’re ready. Drop the new music.”
Minutes after the Verizon commercial aired, Beyoncé reverted to her personal social media accounts and published a 57-second teaser for Renaissance: Act II. The teaser takes the Grammy Award winner from throwback tax to the deserts as a crowd looks up at a billboard that reads, “Texas Hold ‘Em.” As the teaser plays out, a snippet of an unreleased track appears to play in the background. Then, she offers one last message. Renaissance: Act II will debut on Friday, March 29, 2024.
