
Over the course of her illustrious career, Beyonce has proved to be a woman of many facets. Successful across the various avenues of music, film, fashion and beyond, the star never forgets to give back. Because of the Queen Bey’s selfless acts, the star is set to be honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 2020 BET Awards.

Announced this morning (6/25), Beyonce will be honored by BET for the work she has done and aid she has provided during the current pandemic. One that doesn’t usually publicize her philanthropic efforts, we have received a small glimpse of what the star has contributed this year. Recently releasing “Black Parade” in celebration of Juneteenth, the proceeds earned from the song are being donated to Black-owned businesses. This comes after also donating proceeds from Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” remix to Houston’s Bread of Life.
Much deserved, the 2020 BET Awards will air this Sunday, June 28, at 8 PM EST on CBS.
