South Dakota State Jackrabbits guard Baylor Scheierman has announced he will transfer to the Creighton Bluejays. Despite transferring he is still declared for the 2022 NBA Draft and his goal is to stay in the process. If the news he gets isn’t what he’s hoping for then he will head to the Creighton Bluejays. Scheierman is considered a top transfer on the market and selected the Creighton Bluejays over the Duke Blue Devils, Clemson Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, and Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Creighton was already the frontrunner in the Big East entering next season. With the addition of Baylor Scheierman, the Bluejays just became a team that will be in the national championship conversation.

In his third year with the Creighton Bluejays, Baylor Scheierman averaged 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His numbers led the team in rebounds per game, assists per game, and steals per game paired with his points per game finishing second on the team. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 50.8 percent and a three-point percentage of 46.9 percent. South Dakota State finished with an overall record of 30-5 and a Summit League record of 18-0.
Baylor Scheierman grew up less than two hours from Creighton.
Told me he will go through the draft process and then make a decision whether to go pro or play at Creighton.
Creighton is a Top 3-5 Preseason Team with Scheierman in the fold. https://t.co/mta6DT51X4

The Creighton Bluejays were already considered a top ten team heading into the season, but with the addition of Baylor Scheierman, they will be considered National Championship contenders. The team put the Big East on notice last season while injured and next season they will be going for the final college nets of the college basketball season.
