Lately, the Heat has been managing their stars with injuries giving them some rest every now and then. Against the Nuggets, Jimmy Butler (Tailbone) and Tyler Herro (Soreness) were resting.
With Bam’s absence, the team can go two ways. Put PJ Tucker as the five, like he did in his time with the Houston Rockets, and hope that Markieff Morris can return from his neck injury or give more minutes to KZ Opala. They could also bump Dewayne Dedmon to the starting lineup and Omer Yurtseven as the backup.
Currently, the team holds the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 13-8 record.
