Former two-division titlist Badou Jack earned a unanimous decision victory against light heavyweight Blake McKernan on the second fight of the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. undercard. From the opening bell, Jack dominated the fight with powerful body shots. To McKernan’s credit, he was able to keep the fight going by eating tough shots and moving forward.
After earning a well-deserved victory, Jack will look towards a bout with Jean Pascal in 2021. In 2019, Pascal defeated Jack by split decision and took home the WBA Light Heavyweight title. Heading into the rematch, Pascal will not only be coming off a victory against Jack. He also defeated undefeated light heavyweight Marcus Browne in the previous fight. At 38 years old, Pascal will provide a stiff test for Jack.
With Jack-McKernan and Ortiz-Segawa in the rearview mirror, fans will now enjoy the night’s two biggest fights. First, Nate Robinson will take on Jake Paul. Then, Mike Tyson will go toe-to-toe with Roy Jones Jr.
