The Atlanta Braves have become the first team to advance to the 2020 National League Championship Series(NLCS) after sweeping the Miami Marlins three games to none. The Braves have been surging and were able to get the job done and move onto the NLCS for a shot at the World Series.

The Braves would win the first game 9-5, they would take game two 2-0, and then in game three, they put a beating on the Marlins, winning 7-0. The Braves have survived and will advance further into the postseason bubble, currently stationed in Texas.
Freddie Freeman is a 2020 MVP candidate, and he showed that in the series, along with some help from an unlikely source, Travis d’Arnaud. The Marlins, on the other hand, will go home after an unlikely playoff run.
In the clinching game, the Braves would get six solid innings out of Kyle Wright, before turning it over to the bullpen. It was a complete game shutout by the Braves, who were able to get the job done.
Coming into the 2020 season, most would never have picked the Marlins even to sniff the postseason. However, the Marlins would overcome a COVID-19 outbreak that mutilated their roster and find a way into the Wildcard series and eventually their NLDS match-up.
The Braves will face the winner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres NLDS match-up on Monday to kick things off. The winner of that series will obviously get a chance to play in the 2020 World Series.
