Fans of Griselda received an unwelcome surprise at midnight. When fans went to check their favorite streaming service, one project was missing, The Liz 2. Just after midnight, the first lady of Griselda revealed that her project would not be released on September 2, 2022 as previously planned.
“It’s not dropping tomorrow guys. [I’m] still waiting for things to get cleared, but I promise it’s worth the wait,” Armani Caesar wrote.
Armani Caesar is not the only person to claim that the project is “worth the wait.” Westside Gunn recently hopped on Twitter to show his support for The Liz 2.
“I just wanna say Armani Caesar’s The Liz 2 is stupid. Sh*t [is] a big vibe,” he tweeted last week.
While everyone outside of Griselda waits to hear The Liz 2 for the first time, Armani Caesar is encouraging her fans to keep listening to her latest single, “Hunnit Dolla Hiccup” with Benny The Butcher and Stove God Cooks.
“In the meantime, let’s run them numbers up on ‘Hunnit Dolla Hiccup.’ And I got a something special I’m dropping just to hold y’all over,” she added.
“Run this sh*t up,” Westside Gunn added.
At this time, it is unclear when Armani Caesar will return with the complete project. Until then, “Hunnit Dolla Hiccup” will have to hold us over.
