Apple Music has tapped Nadeska Alexis as the next host of their R&B Now online radio show. Based on their playlist of the same name, the show will break new artists, feature interviews with rising stars and much more.
“As someone who has a deep appreciation for R&B, and came of age listening to artists like TLC, Brandy and Aaliyah, I’ve been very excited by the resurgence and diversity we’ve seen in the genre over the past few years,” she said.

“Bringing Apple Music’s R&B Now playlist to life with a weekly show gives me a chance to spotlight rising artists and new movements, revisit nostalgic moments, and have bigger conversations about the evolution of the R&B landscape,” she added.
Alexis debuted the show May 8, 2020 with an interview with Kehlani. The two discussed the Bay Area artist’s latest album, working through the COVID-19 pandemic and much more.
Alexis will continue to host the show as well as her popular Complex talk show, Everyday Struggle.
