ESPN has decided to re-sign both Bomani Jones and Pablo Torre after canceling their daily talk show, High Noon, earlier this year.
Under this new deal, Jones will remain with the company for two more years for an unspecified dollar amount. In his new role, Jones will contribute to Highly Questionable, Pardon The Interruption, SportsCenter and Around The Horn. He will also continue to write occasionally and host his podcast, The Right Time with Bomani Jones.
Meanwhile, Torre will remain with the company for undisclosed period of time. Similar to Jones, he will also contribute to shows such as Highly Questionable, Pardon The Interruption, SportsCenter and Around The Horn. However, the two will not reunite as a duo. It’s unclear if he will also venture into the podcasting or radio arenas.
ESPN will move closer to regularly scheduled programming over the next few months as sports return to the new post-COVID-19 normal.
