On Sunday night, Aminé shared a preview of his newest collaboration with Young Thug produced by T-Minus. Immediately, 6LACK replied with a tweet that read, “went crazy & i ain’t even heard it.” After replaying the track for the past hour non-stop, it’s safe to say 6LACK’s reply was an understatement.
The three-minute track is distinctively Aminé. With bouncy, eccentric production, the Portland artist harmonizes alongside the Atlanta icon. Together, the two offer a break-up anthem that anyone can relate to. If you’ve ever experienced a break-up where you’ve wanted to flex on your ex while simultaneously wanting to get back with them, this song may be for you.
“I f*cked up once again and you know I’m never too proud to beg. It’s hard to admit that I’ve made my bed and you know that I’m going to always wish you the best,” Aminé raps.
In addition to releasing a new track, the Portland native has announced that the will be releasing a new album called Limbo on August 7, 2020. The new project will feature previously released tracks like “Shimmy,” “RiRi” and “Compensating” featuring Young Thug. Be on the look out for a full track list. In the meantime, check out “Compensating” above.
