Three months after All Rise saw its run at CBS come to a close, it appears that it may find a second life at The Oprah Winfrey Network. Deadline has reported that Warner Bros. TV studios have been negotiating a deal with The Oprah Winfrey Network’s parent company, Discovery, for some time now. Still, viewers should approach this news with cautious optimism as negotiations have not reached the final stage yet.
All Rise follows the lives of judges, prosecutors and staff at a courthouse in Los Angeles, California. The show primarily focuses on Judge Lola Carmichael, a judge who pushes boundaries and challenges the status quo the criminal justice system.
The show lasted for two seasons before it was canceled in 2021. Along the way, the show featured Simmone Missick as Lola Carmichael along with Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson and Ruthie Ann Miles. At this time, it is clear how much of the cast would be able to return if the show is resurrected at OWN.
