Wiz Khalifa has finally released the much-anticipated sequel to the smokers classic ‘Rolling Papers 2′. Wiz has a lot of classics under his belt including Kush & OJ & 28 Grams but with his last studio album being in 2014, the hype is at an all-time high (no pun intended) for some new music and he came prepared. The album consists of 25 tracks featuring the likes of PartyNextDoor, Swae Lee, Lil Skies and Gucci Mane along with the regulars in Wiz’ ‘rap circle’ Snoop Dogg, Curre$y & Ty Dolla Sign. There’s also a Bone Thugs & Harmony song on there that you have to wait for 22 songs for but, it is very worth it.
Wiz has had a track record for making bangers so don’t be surprised if at least a couple of these songs end up on the radio and at the top of the Billboard charts. He is also releasing this album under Taylor Gang which is under Atlantic Records and they love to push records through the radio. Even though it’s been 4 years since we’ve had an album ‘Laugh Now, Fly Later’ which had the street banger ‘Letterman’. The album already includes ‘Something New’ (Ft. Ty Dolla Sign) which might just go platinum depending on how well this album does. Don’t sleep on Wizo.
He released the album on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music & Tidal and what a better time to drop some music before he heads out on tour. Wiz & Rae Sremmurd go on tour later this month and you can bet that the album will be perfect to perform.
