The grand opening of Marcus Jordan’s new store at Disney Springs, ‘The Trophy Room‘ is set for May 23rd. What makes this date even more special is the 5 & 23 as it tells a story and plays off of the fact the 5 was Marcus jersey number and well the 23 is obviously Michael’s. The Trophy Room is expected to open up that day at 5:23 AM as well but of course it will be baring some special gifts. A few restocks is on the list to be in attendance, 2016 releases of course but the special and probably most sought after is the Air Jordan XX3 Trophy Room Exclusive.
The focus as stated by Marcus was to incorporate a model 15-23 (the least favorites for most collectors) and make it special to The Trophy Room and it’s grand opening. As it may be, the Air Jordan XX3 is his favorite model that was co-designed by Tinker Hatfield. I can admit I was not that big of a fan of the 23 back when it first released but I will admit, this colorway does this model serious justice. Decked out in white, gold and black, the highlights are the MJ signature throughout the upper and the translucent outsole which sports The Trophy Room logo.
Also you notice the 5 on one shoe and 23 on the other to further play on the theme of 5/23 and it is to be made known that only 523 pairs exist world wide.
