Footlocker took to their official site Footlocker Unlocked to provide a release reminder and release details for the upcoming new color way for Air Jordan XII Retro “Taxi” which is White/Black-Taxi-Varsity Red… Us over at Defpen Radio decided to relay the message to you guys and find out if these will be a DEF cop or DEF not.
We’re closing out the calendar year right with some big Jordan Retro drops over the next few weekends. First up on the docket is the OG “Taxi” 12?s, which haven’t been released since 2008. Arguably the most popular 12 colorway after the “Flu Game,” the “Taxi” 12?s are covered with a white and black tumbled leather base, gold upper eyelets and “taxi” yellow accents on the heel and outsole. The classic Jumpman logo pops on the tongue with the iconic “Two Three” on the right and left shoe respectively. In partnership with mall management, SELECT Foot Locker and House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Taxi” (on sale 12/14/13 for $170). The sweepstakes ticket procedures will begin Wednesday, December 11th and end on Thursday, December 12th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Friday, December 13th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only. To find out which store near you will carry the shoe and if that store will implement the sweepstakes ticket procedure, please visit the Foot Locker Launch Locator. This release will also be available on Footlocker.com starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT this Saturday, December 14th. The full family of kids sizes (grade school, pre-school, infant and crib) will also be available in stores and online.
