There is a lot of talk regarding Air Jordan Retro 2016 releases as new colorways are set to release this year. While the pictures you see here aren’t quite the actual sneakers, they serve a purpose in giving us an idea of what to expect considering they are catalog images.
While many avid Jordan Brand fans usually like to stick to the original colorways, it doesn’t stop Jumpman from testing the waters and issuing new colorways which usually (almost always) have a specific meaning behind it’s creation.
As you know we can expect several Air Jordan 5 releases this year as well Air Jordan 12 and even the Air Jordan 7 is making an appearance. Recently a lot of release dates have been provided for some of these new colorways like the Air Jordan 5 ‘Bronze’ and ‘Olympic’, both new and will surely be representation to some point in MJ’s career. As you can see the ‘Olympic’ is dressed up in a simple White/Black-Gold colorway while its counterpart ‘Bronze’ features Navy Blue/White-Bronze and by the looks of both images, they look good thus far. Having respective release dates of August 13th and September 24th look for fans to have great interest in these once more pictures are presented down the line.
Next up is the Air Jordan 7 ‘Olympic’ or is it? Well when news first sparked of the upcoming return of the beloved colorway many were upset because we have received a release numerous times before. Personally I love the shoe, had a pair back in High School and wouldn’t mind it again but keeping things original this time around doesn’t look to be the case here for Jordan Brand. News that the Olympic 7s would be receiving a new look dubbed ‘Tinker Alternate’ had many scratching their heads due to not knowing what to expect.
As you can see the whole ‘Alternate‘ theme is a big thing for JB this year considering MJ wasn’t a recipient of many in his playing days so this may be Tinkers way of imaging what if he was able to give Mike that option for his Olympic shoe. The release date is August 16th (Wednesday?) and with the addition of more blue to the sneaker on the upper, the transition of red – white adding red splatter, the shoe is nothing short of interesting.
Lastly and certainly not least, is the two new Air Jordan 12 colorways. Getting straight to the point the Red/White pair is easily the eye catcher and highlight, for me at least. The latter pair looks to sport a grey upper and white bottom and with having release dates for two Air Jordan 12 colorways that we provided for you guys previously it is no secret JB is going all out for the silhouettes 20th Anniversary.
When more information as far as new pictures, confirmation on storyline and even release date changes, we will keep you guys updated accordingly.
