The Space Jam rumors appear to be true.
It was said that Jordan Brand would be releasing a Looney Tunes/Space Jam inspired collection this year for its 30th Anniversary as well as for the 23rd Anniversary for the Air Jordan 7.
So far, we have seen the Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Hare’ slated to make its return this year which drew inspiration form Bugs Bunny, obviously. Next – which happens to release this weekend – is the Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Marvin The Martian‘ aka ‘Barcelona Nights’ (Legal reasons, prohibit the use of MTM). So this new colorway/nickname is only fitting.
Releasing exclusively for girls is the Air Jordan 7 Retro GS ‘Lola Bunny’. The sneaker draws inspiration from Bugs Bunny’s female counterpart who was also in Space Jam.
Well with that picture of Lola Bunny seen above you can see where the AJ 7 took its different cues of colors from. aqua, purple to the tan/golden yellow and even on the tongue with the new graphic pattern we see a blend of all the colors.
Dope concept, I wonder what other characters we could expect to see. Hopefully Daffy Duck is next.
