The Japanese Manga, ‘Slam Dunk’ comes to life this weekend with the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Slam Dunk’. Not coming along of course but certain retailers will be providing release details and detailed pictures for each of the silhouettes. The most “important” and highly coveted is the 6 while the Jordan Super.Fly 3 continues to receive not as much praise.
Each look great to me but obviously I am not the one buying the shoes for you guys so the choice is yours this weekend. I am just here to provide you guys with options to purchase either one that you want.

This edition of the Air Jordan 6 Retro takes the silhouette and dresses it up according to Takehiko Inoue’s Slam Dunk, a Japanese manga. The iconic piece of art and literature is about a basketball team wearing Bulls-style uniforms who often lace up Air Jordan sneakers. The Air Jordan 6 Retro features an all-red upper while displaying iconic imagery on the sneaker that pay tribute to the legacy of Sakuragi’s personal growth and on-court talent. Other details include a translucent heel tab, a white midsole and blue-tinted outsole.
