For the last couple of weeks we have seen countless pictures of the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘History of Jordan’ and as we all patiently have waited for some sort of release date that wait seems to be over! The Air Jordan 6 has been celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year with the return of a couple of classic color ways and a few new. This particular color way is surely new but serves as a tribute to some very important stories in MJ life. The stories can be found within the sock liner of the sneaker and are as follows:
Dice, a tribute to Michael Jordan’s love for gambling. Trophy with the number 6 – inspired by the 6 rings MJ earn in his career. The number 62,046 – Jordan’s last visit to Atlanta with the Bulls that attracted a crowd of 62,046 — the largest in NBA history. Plus many more.
Today via twitter Brandon Edler (@MrBrando3) reported that the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘History of Jordan’ will be available August 9th at Finishline which will only make one assume this will coincide with Nike Store and any other retailers.
Take a look at the detailed pictures below and let us know if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not for you guys.
