The ESPY Awards took place July 13th and all the star athletes from their respective sports were in attendance. Looking to take advantage of the platform and having all eyes on ABC, Jordan Brand aired their latest commercial. From a nostalgic standpoint, the ad featured a young Michael Jordan in his Air Jordan 1 which was essentially banned by the NBA. With them being banned Nike picked up the fine each time MJ wore the shoes. Well Jordan Brand is taking things to new heights as the Air Jordan 31(XXX1) will be officially unveiled this July 20, 2016.

UPDATE: Here is a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 31 ‘Bred’ which is expected to make its official unveiling this July 20th. The ‘Bred’ colorway is slated to release this September 3rd. The Air Jordan 31 is inspired by the Air Jordan 1 and moving forward look for that to be the case with Air Jordan 32, it will be inspired by the Air Jordan 2.
