I’ll be the first to admit I was not that big of a fan of the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Sport Blue’ when they first debuted online. As all things (music for example) sometimes that first look/listen isn’t always the best to go based on when forming an opinion. As we continue you on with the month of August we have already seen the ‘Sport Blue’ Air Jordan release with the 14’s. Next up is the iconic 3’s which stay true to their roots with the black tumble leather, and elephant print but this time we have ‘Sport Blue’ adding a new twist.
Below, the folks at Nike Store have provided some detailed pictures as well as some release details which should help you guys determine if these are a DEF Cop or DEF Not as well help make your shopping experience easier.
The Air Jordan III was the first Air Jordan to feature visible air, the new Jumpman logo and the infamous elephant print. The new ‘Sport Blue’ colorway evokes the original with a black leather upper and grey elephant print detailing. The Sport Blue is distinctive and eye-catching, providing a good color pop on the Jumpman logo, midsole, lace loops and outsole. Available on Nike.com August 16 (8am EDT/5am PDT).
