I could understand why some sneaker enthusiast would feel weary about the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Sport Blue’, it isn’t an OG color way. Which is cool but don’t rule out the new color way on this classic silhouette just yet. Sporting the black tumble leather and elephant print keeps the sneakers true to its roots. Now adding the sport blue for that added ‘pop’ these actually turned out better than I thought when we first introduced these to you guys.

The Air Jordan III was the first Air Jordan to feature visible air, the new Jumpman logo and the infamous elephant print. The new ‘Sport Blue’ colorway evokes the original with a black leather upper and grey elephant print detailing. The Sport Blue is distinctive and eye-catching, providing a good color pop on the Jumpman logo, midsole, lace loops and outsole. In partnership with mall management, SELECT Foot Locker and House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Sport Blue” (on sale 8/16/14 for $170). The sweepstakes tickets will be given out Monday, August 11th and Tuesday, August 12th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Wednesday, August 13th or Thursday, August 14th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only.
