I think the Sneaker Gods are really on my side. Specifically speaking in terms of Jordan Brand alone, sneakers that have been an all time favorite of mine have returned. With 2016 here and all the buzz around the Air Jordan 12 respectively since it is the 20th anniversary but I am pretty sure every has their eyes on the Holiday 2016 release, the Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘Space Jam’. I know I do. Speaking of the Air Jordan 11, a familiar colorway is making a return and it is one we all should be anticipating, the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low ‘White/Varsity Red’. Now this colorway first debuted back in 2001 and that would essentially make it 15 years as they look to make their way back this Summer 2016.
I know for me, back in 2001 when the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low released with like 4 or 5 colorways in one day, I missed every single one of them. I don’t know if you guys see what’s happening but it appears each of those are starting to return. Last year the ‘Citrus’ colorway returned and now the ‘White/Varsity Red’ is set to return. So that makes one wonder will we see others in coming months or even next year.
