News has been circulating for a while now with speculation regarding what the Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘72-10‘ (proposed nickname for now) would look like. It had been made known that this highly coveted Holiday Air Jordan 11 would be something totally different than what fans were use to. In recent years we have received the ‘Space Jams’, ‘Cool Grey’, ‘Concord’,’Bred’, ‘Gamma‘, ‘Pantone‘ and ‘Legend Blue‘.
Pretty solid run if you ask me.
How would the ’72-10’ 11’s fair up against its predecessors? Well it appears from previous talk about the shoe and these first teaser images the upper on the shoe isn’t like past releases, instead of that mesh we see that a premium tumble leather is applied which definitely changes how the 11’s will be viewed.
We also see in the teaser pictures that the 23 on the back heel is blacked out and the Jumpman logo isn’t stitched, its glossy. I am not too sure how I feel about that, certainly different I will reserve judgment until a full picture is revealed. Until then this is all we have to work with which is enough to give a premature answer on whether these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
Also it is being said that the release date is slated for December 19, 2015 and the suggested retail price is aiming to be $220.
