Most of the sneaker community was tuned in via twitter and instagram as @baltsneakershow delivered some news that certainly shook things up for 2016. The Air Jordan 11 is arguably one of the best Air Jordan silhouettes, considering who you talk to of course and with the recent ‘72-10‘ colorway it’s obvious Jordan Brand has a lot of tricks up their sleeves to keep the model alive outside of the traditional colorways many like myself have grown to love.
As for the low version, JB is hit or miss on some colorways but nonetheless the 11’s all around the board have been relatively promising as fans continue to love the shoe. With 2016 the year for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, we are expecting a lot of sneakers to be inspired by the Olympics. Back to Balt’s news that was released, he let the cat out of the bag on an Air Jordan 11 Low ‘White/Gold’ which is set to be released in time for the 2016 Olympics.
In the pictures seen above and below, the version of the sneaker is an original Air Jordan 11 in white/gold which is pretty much exactly what we can expect when the shoes release but just low cut of course. While there is no pictures available the folks over at SBD constructed this rendering image which gives us our best idea as of right now of what to expect when actual pictures start to roll out.
Being the Olympics aren’t until August, expect for the release date to be sometime around there but when more information is provided we will keep you guys updated accordingly. UPDATE: While the official pictures provided were of the grade school version we have new detailed pictures which look to be Men sizes but there is word floating around the Air Jordan 11 Low ‘White/Gold’ is grade school exclusive. We will see when they officially release.
UPDATE: While a release date has yet to be confirmed the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Low ‘White/Gold’ or ‘Metallic Gold Coin’ aka ‘Olympics’, we do now have official pictures from Nike. Check out the new pictures and when a release date is confirmed we will have that information for you guys.
