An OG colorway on an OG, cliche or nah?.. Looks like the guys at Foot Locker took to their blog as well to provide us as well as y’all with some release details for the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Even though these are not being accepted amongst as much as the Air Jordan 6 Retro don’t be fooled, that NIKE AIR tag on the tongue will surely drag in some type of hype.

Jordan Brand has big plans for Memorial Day weekend for the return of the heralded “Carmine” colorway. In addition to return of the classic Air Jordan 6, this original Jumpman colorway also makes its way on to the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High. Sitting atop a clear outsole and classic black midsole, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG features a White, Black and Carmine color blocked in a pattern reminiscent of the original. Black lacing, Nike branding on the tongue, and the iconic Swoosh and wings logo’s finish off this iconic silhouette. In partnership with mall management, SELECT House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Air Jordan 1 Retro “Carmine” (on sale 5/24/14 for $140). The sweepstakes tickets will be given out Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Friday, May 23rd.
