No Air Jordan 1 ‘Pinnacles’? No problem. As Jordan Brand continues to tell the story of its beloved Air Jordan 1 as it celebrates 30 years we have and will continue to see releases of different colorways in abundance. While people scramble to put together whatever the reselling asking price is for the Pinnacle 1s it looks as if the folks at JB are moving on.
Some new catalog shots of what appears to be dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Collection have hit the e-streets. The first pair that was actually spotted was the black/red pair which can be seen below and when I saw them along with its patch Jumpman Logo on the tongue I thought to myself, nice touch, borrowing the Air Max idea that was used for Air Max Day.
There is no clear explanation as of yet behind this collection but they all sport one interesting feature, the replacement of the wings logo with ‘Air Jordan’. Aside from that we see the historic elephant print on two of the colorways which may hint at a few other things but as of right now no one knows.
We will continue to keep you guys updated on any information regarding this Rare Air collection and in the meantime let us know what you guys think of them down in the comments. Will they be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
