All Star Weekend. New York City. Madison Square Garden. Barclays Center. I mean how much better does it possibly get than that? Well from a Sneakerhead stand point it can.
As we have witnessed the past couple years the hosting city has seen a restock in previous releases, new releases and of course the annual Nike Basketball Collection All Star Edition. Can’t forget about Jordan Brand.
Well there has been word floating around of an Air Jordan 1 ‘Brooklyn’ which will be exclusive to NYC, more precisely at Flight 23 NYC which is also being said to turn into a HoH pop up shop.
This AJ1 sports a snakeskin upper, white mid and outsole with the standout hits of what is being said to be 14K/24K gold plates on the eyelets, Jumpman Logo & lastly the Nike Air branding. If you can see as well on the back of the sneakers there is gold plates reading MJ 23/1985. As you SHOULD know, Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn so this colorway/nickname happening isn’t far fetched.
There is still no confirmed release date or information but as time gets closer expect for that to become available and as we always do we’ll keep you guys updated accordingly. Let us know down in the comments if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
