Adrian Martinez has landed a role in the upcoming film, Amateur. Martinez will star alongside Rami Malek in the James Hawes-directed film.
“[Amateur] tells the story of Charles Heller (Malek), a CIA cryptographer who, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes clear they won’t act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself,” the film’s synopsis reads.
Martinez has appeared in a handful of commercially successful films over the last decade and change, including American Hustle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Focus. In addition, he has appeared in television series like Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Blacklist and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Most recently, he starred as Chris in Renfield.
