I know what you guys are possibly thinking, Kobe Bryant isn’t with adidas anymore and yeah he hasn’t for a while but that’s where it all began for the Black Mamba. While we all witnessed history on April 13th which is basically Mamba Day from here on out, the folks at adidas decided to pay respects to Bean in their own respective way similar to their competitor and current sneaker brand hosting Bryant’s signature line. While being called the Black Mamba, Kobe was nicknamed Vino which represented how gracefully KB aged just like “fine wine”. So with the reference being displayed on silhouettes that he wore while with adidas, the gesture is dope. The sneakers which were shown by Swaggy P are adidas Crazy 8, adidas KB8 II and adidas Top Ten 2000.
Each feature a Cork like detailing or an intricate wine colorway which all play off of the vino nickname. While there is no indication of a release date it is still dope the three stripes paid their respects to Kobe. I wonder if these were any of the shoes Young wanted signed and Kobe rejected to do so.
