Okay adidas, you guys came with it for this upcoming adidas Hoops ‘Black History Month’ Collection.
The only silhouette we were aware of and actually saw detailed pictures of first was the adidas D Rose 5 BOOST. That shoe allowed us to learn what the inspiration for the collection would be prior to today and that is Kareem Abdul Jabar.
A portion of the proceeds will go towards “Kareem’s Sky Hook Foundation”.
It is said the adidas Crazy 8 is inspired by Kareem’s High School beginnings and the adidas J Wall 1 is a reference to his stint at UCLA. The other sneaker involved in this collection is newly unveiled D Lillard 1.
The adidas Crazy 8 will drop this January 23, 2015 for the retail price of $110. The adidas J Wall 1 & adidas D Rose 5 Boost will drop on January 30, 2015 for the retail prices of $115 and $140. Lastly the adidas D Lillard 1 will be dropping on February 6, 2015 for the retail price of $105.
