Black History Month is next month as well know and SHOULD know. Well each year sneaker brands liberate a color way consisting of some kind of design commemorating the month of remembrance.
So far this year we have a look at the Nike BHM Collection, which consist of detailed pictures, release dates for 12 different sneakers from Nike Basketball, Nike Sportswear and even Jordan Brand. That leaves the competition like Reebok and adidas to catch up. Well….
That brings us here today as we get a detailed look at what is said to be the adidas D Rose 5 ‘BHM’ but here is a very interesting and DOPE twist to it. The D Rose silhouette is filled with inspiration from Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Said inspiration from Kareem can be seen throughout the sneaker with inspirational quotes also on the tongue as well as on the insole.
To solidify things, the sneakers packaging (sneaker box) it sell is Kareem itself, for the most part. The color way for the shoes is black/gold and while this is the first seen for adidas Basketball as far as BHM is concerned, word is these are part of a collection.
