What may have seemed as a disappointing season to Rose fans could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. After injuring himself and sitting out for all of last year fans were furious but with the return and Derrick being “All In For Chicago” the future looks promising. Along with a promising future is a promising 4th signature shoe which should be accepted warmly by fans than its predecessor.
The D.Rose 4 was officially unveiled by Adidas and Footlocker was kind enough to provide folks with a press release that gave a brief background on the design and the three colorways set to drop. Check it out..
For the D Rose 4, adidas designers worked closely with D Rose to design and develop a shoe tailored specifically for his relentless, attacking style of play and unique style. The shoe’s design showcases the two sides of one of the game’s best, with a bold line separating the front and back of the shoe. The back heel highlights Derrick’s competitive fire and explosive, attacking style of play, while the front represents his humble and confident demeanor and understated off-the-court style. In addition to its unique design, the D Rose 4 has all the latest adidas technological developments that will make one of the fastest, quickest and most agile players in the league even faster and more explosive. Performance upgrades such as the Crazyquick outsole traction system, gives Derrick maximum control and flexibility for quick movements. Support is enhanced by SprintWeb, dynamic GEOFIT ankle support and an improved molded SprintFrame chassis. Three-Stripes on the heel serves as a reminder of Derrick’s speed to opponents. For off-court appeal, the D Rose 4 features premium elements such as a gloss upper pattern, reflective D Rose logo on the collar and an eye-catching hologram material overlaid by perforated synthetic leather to highlight the tongue logo.
The adidas D Rose 4 drops in three colors, including the Foot Locker exclusive Scarlet Red or “Brenda” colorway, in stores and online on October 10th for $140.
