The floral theme has become synonomous with adidas and their basketball line with the adidas D Rose shoe being the receipient of the pattern more so than anyone else. That could be largely due to the fact Derrick Rose is on his 6th signature shoe with adidas. With new comer Damian Lillard, his frequent outburst of scoring should warrant fans and casual sneaker heads to pay more attention to his line. As for both of their signature lines we have them releasing in a collection which is inspired by two things respectively.
The adidas Basketball ‘Florist City’ Collection watches the adidas D Lillard 2 ‘Floral City’ take its inspiration from the annual Rose Festival in Portland. Decked out in full Rose graphics for the Lillard 2, it is the adidas D Rose 6 who takes on a Violet graphic approach which is a nod to Illinois and it’s state flower. Each sneaker looks great and with me being a big fan of the Lillard 2 I would have to go with those being my favorite. That isn’t to take away from the adidas D Rose 6 ‘Florist City’ so with the detailed pictures seen below you guys can make your own decision on which will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
As for a release date look for these both to hit select adidas Basketball retailers on March 18th and the Lillard 2 is expected to retail for $105 with the D Rose 6 retailing for $140.
